Aloha Everyone!!!I am here to speak a little about this marvellous place that is ASSISI, land of Saint Francis.
My first time in Assisi was in 1999, by invitation of the dear friendds from the Casa Regina Della Pace. We were in Amsterdam and from there we flew, me and my friend Sebastião Raulino, to the peaceful Assisi. Two extremes, two realities: from the crazy freedom of Amsterdam to the natural freedom of Assisi, in Umbria. It was love at first sight. Located on the flank of Mount Subasio, the preserved medieval city transports us to a journey in time. There I met this mystery of Universal Wisdom, this Franciscan Spirit. Spirit of simplicity, of renewal, force, ecology, humanization, respect and understanding.
It was really, really Good!!!!!!!! To take the Santo Daime in that city, enveloped by this Spirit. ....................a journey very different to the one I was doing in Amsterdam.
